Reflex has been developed by YFC to engage with young offenders, tackling issues relevant to them through the use of challenging and stimulating activities.

Reflex workers deliver quality regimes and accredited projects to young offenders in custody as well as providing support for ex-offenders through our Mettle programme.

Reflex projects provide young offenders with the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to overcome the barriers they face in order to reach their full potential.

By creating a space in which young offenders can express themselves effectively, we challenge anti-social attitudes, develop social skills, and help redefine boundaries of acceptable behaviour.

Through learning to work together in a safe environment, we encourage the use of creativity and gifts, where the young offenders work together towards set goals.

Reflex workers and volunteers provide support and encouragement to young offenders, whilst providing them with positive role models.
